I personally feel like there’s a misconception of what a fashion blogger’s life is actually like.  Yes, I post pictures of great outfits that I own and wear.  Yes, I like to drink coffee.  Yes, I like to eat delicious food.  However, that’s not the story of my life.  I had a great conversation last night with my family about the reality of fashion blogging, and what people may assume about me based on the pictures I post.

Today is Sunday.  Since I live in Los Angeles, my fashion usually pertains to a warm day with sunshine and clear skies.  This is not the case here.  I’m still in Dallas, and it is rainy and freezing outside.  The weather is grey and gloomy.  This super cute and casual outfit that I’m wearing was taken a few days ago when the weather was still great in Dallas.  Does this make the outfit false?  I don’t believe so.  I think I am still telling a story of a great denim outfit that I purchased, and that I would wear on any given Sunday.

I’m wearing a pair of Urban Outfitters x One Teaspoon Super Tough Denim that is now sold out.  I purchased it in a size 25, which is the size I normally wear in denim.  However, One Teaspoon is an Aussie brand and tends to run a size bigger.  I read the reviews before I purchased the denim online and everyone had said that it ran big, but it was the last one so I figured I’ll just make it work.  Thank goodness these jeans come with a rope tie waist, because they would be falling off me.

I didn’t know that these jeans were an exclusive style made for UO, but I can now see why they are.  This is not your typical One Teaspoon distressed denim that you see online or on Instagram.  These are sailor-like, slouchy jeans and has a tapered zip ankle.  They’re not what I expected in terms of fit, but for the price that I purchased it at I don’t mind wearing it around the house or while out running errands.  Here are similar looks:
