ETERNAL

LA fashion is very different from the rest of the country because of our never-ending warm temperature, but occasionally we get those nights where it drops down into the low 60s.  Those are the days that we want transitional pieces that go great with or without a jacket.  I found this Lovers + Friends Eternal Dress in Ivory during the Revolve (i.e. Tularosa, Lovers + Friends, NBD) Sample Sale last month (read SALES).  You’d hate me if I told you how much I actually bought it for, so let’s just say that it’s on sale right now.  The fabric is soft and durable, kind of like a scuba suit fabric, so it should keep me warm when it gets chilly at night.  This dress also comes with a long sleeve look.

I purchased this Vince Fur Trimmed Hooded Anorak two years ago at Neiman Marcus when they had a special on Vince outerwear.  It was still pricey, but this coat is simple enough that I can wear it year after year.  Definitely an investment piece.  I like that the coat is light with a removable coyote fur-trim and hood.  This way I can wear it all the way into spring season without looking too bundled up.  This coat is no longer available, but here are some similar looks:

I’m not worried about wearing white after Labor Day, especially this dress.  Remember ladies, it’s okay to be a rebel at times and take risks in fashion.  This outfit is chic but not overly done and can be worn to lunch and/or dinner and a movie.  Thank y’all for reading and let me know if you have any questions or comments!
