MAY FLOWER

I’m a May flower.  My birth stone is the emerald.  My astrology sign is the Bull (Taurus).  My favorite color is yellow.  I’ve mentioned this many times, but I grew up wearing yellow.  My mother would always dress my sister in pink and me in yellow.  I’m so glad because now that the warm weather is amongst us, yellow is springing up left and right in the fashion world.  Yellow goes great against all skin tones, so unless you’re dead and grey, I think it’s a safe bet to wear this warm color.  The best is when you combine it with a great floral pattern.

I lucked out huge when I purchased this Reformation Savanah Dress in Barnyard.  I had been eyeing this beauty for over a month.  We’ve been playing the game of I add it to my cart, enter in my all my info (including credit card), and cancel out right at the last moment before I click submit order.  It would constantly sell out in my size.  I’ll add myself to the waitlist.  It’ll become available, and the cycle starts all over again.  It’s been torturous.  However, this past weekend, I braved myself and walked into the store.  There she was.  Hanging on the rack.  Only one.  My size.  My birthday just two weeks away.  It’s kismet.

In case you’re having the same trouble as I was in this department of biting the bullet on a pricey purchase, here are some more affordable, yet similar looks:

Thinking about doing the Malibu Safari Wine Tasting with my girlfriends for my birthday.  Has anyone done it?  If so, what do you think?  Worth a bday extravaganza?  Any feedback would be much appreciated!
