Back in 2015, (which was just 5 days ago), I blogged about the BEST COMBO: plaid shirt paired with denim.  Here in 2016, I still have to say that’s the best combination to ever hit casual wear.  Fashion changes and evolves, but the classic pieces stay the same.  So no matter how much you go through time travel in the last millennium, you will always find a great plaid shirt with a great pair of denim.

What I love about this color combination is the red and hunter green plaid.  I wore this outfit over the Christmas holiday and it was a perfect choice.  I wear this shirt year round because it’s light and comfy.  I think red is a great color for any plaid shirt, and it usually goes well with other colors combinations.

These are an old pair of Zara High Waist Skinny Jeans in Black.  The updated version have tears on the knee, which I personally prefer.  But if the distressed version is not your style, here’s a similar look.
