Don’t make fun of me, but I really thought I was a princess in third grade.  No, I wasn’t a spoiled brat or played one too many dress ups during sleepovers with my girlfriends.  I seriously thought I was a descendent from another star, (yup, like superman), and my real parents (not my earth parents) were royalty back in our planet.  Sigh.  To be back in imagination world…oh wait, I live in La La Land.  I’m a grown ass woman, but every once in a while I’ll put on a dress that makes me feel like a princess all over again.

I found this gorgeous Lovers + Friends Maxi Dress in Jungle Floral at the Revolve Sample sale last month.  This was from their Tulum Summer 2015 collection.  This particular dress was only displayed in their lookbook on the striking VS model, Josephine Skriver, and I have yet to find it anywhere else. However, I was able to find this gorgeous Jungle Floral print in the Meet Me at Sunset Babydoll Dress and Wander Away Cami.

I lucked out because the day after I purchased this dress my friend and photographer, Larry Wong, just happen so to be in town.  Of course we have to shoot together while we hangout.  It made perfect sense to showcase this dress in my studio on my bed.  It made me feel pretty, sexy, and shockingly comfortable to be lying around in my bed in a pretty floral maxi dress.  Ladies, I highly recommend it.  Even if it’s just you and only for you, I think we should treat ourselves to some pillow talk.

Since I can’t find this dress anywhere, I’m assuming it’s not available.  But here are the maxi dresses that I recommend you wearing if you ever want to lounge around your boudoir and feel like a princess:

Who is ready for summer?!  I can’t wait to take my dog Kenzie to the beach.  Are there any great SoCal beaches that are dog friendly other than the one in Long Beach?  Let me know!
