So, I was online shopping at Reformation, (what’s new, right?), and I came across their cute advertising slogan, “RIP Winter”. I’m not one to steal someone else’s brilliant idea, but I REALLY wish I would’ve came up with this myself. It’s the perfect title for this blog post and for this outfit. I am currently running my A/C and it’s only the middle of March in Los Angeles, which means we can officially say peace out to winter.
I want to dive right into my crop tops and two-piece outfits. I also want to wear white because white just screams warm weather. Farewell shearling jackets and knit scarves. RIP Winter!
I got this adorable matching Elevated Basics knit eyelets crop top and skirt (sold separately) from Library‘s new location off 3rd St. in Los Angeles. It was on sale and the whole outfit cost less than $60! They have awesome sales all the time, so if you’re in the LA-area, I would stop by either their Larchmont location or their new 3rd St. store.
I love that you can wear these items together or separately with other favs in your closet. I’ve already paired my top with my Levi’s Mile High Black Wash Skinny Jeans, and wore it out on a date. I’d have to say the boy did fancy my outfit, but too bad I didn’t fancy the boy. I would pair the skirt with a pretty lace crop top, or wear it with a chambray shirt knotted at the waist for a more casual chic look.
For those of you that are not in the LA-area, here are some similar looks:
BCBG Bettie Off-The-Shoulder Two-Piece Dress
Bishop + Young Margaux Eyelet Crop Top (see below for matching bottom)
Bishop + Young Margaux Eyelet Short (see above for matching top)
Jeffrey Campbell The Studio Platform Sandals (sold out | similar look) / Vintage Sunglasses (forgot where I purchased them)
Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! Hope you’re wearing green and drinking green beer somewhere! Did anyone fill out their March Madness brackets already? Who do you think will be the big winner this year?
