Happy Tuesday everyone! I was online shopping on Nasty Gal last night, (what’s new, right?), and I noticed that everything I was putting in my imaginary shopping cart was an outerwear in the style of a cape. Maybe Little Red Riding Hood knew that if she was going to try and esCAPE the wolf, that it was best if she did it in style. So jealous of her crimson cape. Sorry, I go on a tangent sometimes. So, without further ado, here are my top picks for capes this fall:
NastyGal Playing for Capes Structured Shoulder Cape
This is such a beautiful piece to have in your closet, especially when it’s under $60. Wear it to work, wear it to happy hour, or wear it to the movies with a pair of distressed jeans. Just buy it and wear it.
If this doesn’t scream fall, I don’t know what else does. The colors, the plaid, the fabric all go so well with the season. It’s under $100 and this will definitely be on my to-buy list.
Nightwalker Phantom Tweed Cape Jacket
POW! Thank you Nightwalker for making tweed look this modern and stylish. It has vegan leather lapels and shearling lining. I’m jumping for joy that this cape actually exists!
NastyGal Lavish Alice On The Fly Cape Jacket
This cape is actually in my shopping cart. Not my imaginary one, but the one where my Paypal account is linked and money does get withdrawn when I click confirm purchase. It’s so beautifully structured that I just HAVE to have it.
NastyGal Speaking Sequins Cape Blazer
Going out tonight? You are now. I would make up fake plans just to wear this out. It’s so fabulous and under $100. Wear it with a simple LBD or a pair of hot moto pants. Go enjoy life, but do it in this sequins cape blazer.
Who else loves Nasty Gal as much as I do? Let me know if you end up purchasing one of these capes!
