It’s football season and everyone is out cheering for their favorite college and NFL teams. My teams are the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Dallas Cowboys. (I know, I know, but I’m from Dallas, Texas and it’s part of the package). Even though I’m a big fan of football, I’m an even bigger fan of fashion. Now that we can start to feel the crisp fall air, I think it’s time to list off fall fashion trends that I absolutely adore.
ONE | YSL
I mentioned in a previous post, (WANTED), about my love for the color burgundy this fall. This color is rich and deep and was seen repeatedly throughout the clothes and accessories worn by guests attending NYFW, LFW, and now MFW. The one picture that caught my eye immediately and inspired me was from fashion blogger Christine Andrew of Hellofashionblog. Her YSL monogrammed burgundy velvet envelope clutch is out of this world. I was very upset and crushed when I found out it was no longer available…anywhere. However, the idea of this beautiful clutch led me to fall in love with other burgundy, wine colored YSL bags that are currently available:

TWO | LEATHER JACKET
I died. My heart literally stopped beating for 2 seconds when I saw Petra of Pepamack post this picture on her Instagram account. She is wearing the Parisian brand Hironae Iroquois Leather Jacket. I can just imagine how buttery this jacket must feel when worn.
And of course we cannot forget this notorious Veda Best Friend Jacket photo that spread like wildfire during NYFW. However, my favorite brand of all time for leather jackets have to go to Parisian brand, IRO. You will most likely see a lot of IRO in my upcoming fall fashion posts. I normally wear their size FR 34 in outerwear, but will settle for FR 36 if that’s the smallest size left. (I’ll make it fit). My top two picks are:

Everyone and their mothers are wearing the new Dior sunglasses, and I mean EVERYONE. Now, does this mean I like the Reflected or So Real because everyone else does? Yes. Because they are freaking awesome and they look amazing on every face, shape and size. They have been seen on all the big fashion bloggers like Camila Coelho (pictured here), Julie Sarinana of Sincerely Jules, and Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad. I understand if you can’t shell out $500+ for a pair of sunglasses. I found some other wonderful brands that have similar mirrored-lens look, but they cost a whole lot less than the Diors:

I’m curious to know who your favorite football teams are. I’ll be returning to my alma mater (Go Yellow Jackets!) for homecoming this fall to watch the football game. And most likely will be wearing mirrored-lens sunglasses and carrying a leather jacket for when it gets cold. But why not burgundy you ask? I can’t. We’re playing FSU and that’s the rivals color. LOL!
