It’s been a good minute since my last blog post, so it feels great to have an excuse to post something fun for the summer.  I’ve been in Taipei, Taiwan for a week and a half, and this trip was really refreshing.  I’m actually typing this blog post up on the long plane ride back to LA.  It can get lonely living in LA without my family, so seeing them has given me motivation to get back to Cali and really kick things in gear.  Episodic season just started to I’ll be busy once again with blogging and acting.  But before the summer officially ends, I wanted to share my new summer beach look.

When I first told a good photographer friend of mine that I wanted to do a beach photoshoot with a one-piece swimsuit and sneakers she gawked at the idea.  She thought the look would be too crazy, but I found inspo from Shea Marie and that immediately changed her opinion of the look.  I’ve been obsessed with one-piece swimsuits this summer and when Stage Stores reached out to me, I immediately honed in on their cute one-piece suits.  Many of them are on clearance right now so you can easily snatch one up for less than $30.

Sneakers have made a huge comeback this year.  It’s no longer just for working out or running errands, but you see it worn with cute summer dresses, and now, swimsuits.  I would refrain from styling it with two-piece suits as it could come across as “trashy” (trust me, I tried).  Stage has a huge collection of women Nike sneakers, and I got myself a couple of running shoes in white and black.  They basically go with everything including this one-piece suit I got from California Sunshine.

This look is sporty and fun, and it doesn’t hurt that you can just hop on a board and go skateboarding down Venice Beach.  I’m excited to be flying back to LA, and you’ll most likely catch me parading around in more swimwear and sneakers.
